A supply pallet pays 400 XP in Season 2, or 500 from a ground vehicle. The notes give no separate air figure, so a flown pallet lands on the base 400. The helicopter's edge is runs per hour, and Season 2 pays for that: at launch, every pallet in a row added 100 XP, up to 10. BULKHEAD said on 15 October it was pushing Driver progression fixes after a pallet-run exploit, so the streak values may now be lower than the launch notes say; we'll update this once the write-up lands.
A pilot who keeps the runs going still levels fast. One who crashes pays more for it than ever.
BULKHEAD's notes don't name the class track for these; players have always seen flown deliveries land on Pilot.
A ground vehicle earns 500 XP per pallet against 400 by air. The helicopter wins on everything else:
If your team's FOB sits on a good road and the zone is calm, a truck run is fine. If the map is big or the road is contested, fly.
Only one aircraft moved level, though music tapes were reshuffled too. Levels marked Season 1 weren't restated in the notes.
Figures above are from BULKHEAD's Season 2 patch notes, re-checked 19 October.
Which helicopter is worth most to the enemy in Season 2?
The Havoc: $14,000 to whoever downs it, even after its cut from $18,000. The rocket Little Bird pays $9,400, the minigun Lakota $7,500, the minigun Little Bird $6,000 and an unarmed MH-6 $1,250.
What happens if I crash with passengers?
If the game logs it as a team kill, each passenger is asked to Forgive or Punish you. Punish votes add up and lead to kicks, then escalating bans for repeat offenders.
